TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & RESERVATIONS

  • A deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the full amount of your reservation must be paid within 48 hours of making the booking. Proof of payment must be e-mailed to jaydene@bakermatafrica.com in order to confirm your reservation. Failure to do this will result in the automatic cancellation of your provisional reservation.
  • Final payment of the balance of the reservation must be made before the date of arrival. Failure to do this will result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellation requests must be in writing.  A reservation which is cancelled or not taken up is regarded as a cancellation and is subject to the following rules:

  • For a cancellation made 61 days or more prior to the arrival date, 50% of the deposit amount will be forfeited;
  • For a cancellation made 60 days or less prior to the arrival date, or on the arrival date, 100% of the deposit amount will be forfeited.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be processed via Direct Deposit, EFT or Wire Transfer within 10 working days, subject to the cancellation policy.

PAYMENT OPTIONS & PRICING

All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR) or US Dollar (USD).

For overseas payments the applicant will be liable for bank charges.

CREDIT CARD

A 3.5% bank fee will be charged on the full invoice amount should payment be made with a credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards.

EFT

One of the most widely used ways of sending money is online.  You will then have to load Bakermat Africa as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use your invoice reference number as reference for your payment.

DIRECT DEPOSIT

You may pay through a direct deposit. This is exactly the same as making an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please email your deposit slip to us at jaydene@bakermatafrica.com to ensure your payment is confirmed.

CLIENT INDEMNITY FORM TO BE SIGNED BEFORE ARRIVAL

Bakermat Africa will not accept responsibility for any missed flights, flight cancellations, delays, lost baggage, transport or traffic delays, poor weather conditions, illness, family matters or any other circumstances on your part that may necessitate cancellation or amendments to your travel plans.

Please make sure you have adequate travel insurance in place to cover for any unforeseen situation that might arise.

Drones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the Game Reserves, failure to comply with this rule will result in a heavy fine or arrest by reserve management.

UPDATING OF THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from, portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to our Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
